As with most all-season tires, the Pirelli Pzero M+S is fine in light snow. So 2 or 3" of snow is not an issue, get into 6" of snow or some heavy ice and things are not so good.
All-season tires are designed to allow you to get home or around town in light snow, not to replace winter tires in the snow belt states.
