Absolutely, I also have a 02 9-3SE that recently has had problems. A/C condensor, throttle body, purge valve, struts, ect. This all happened AFTER the original warranty ended. Not saying yours will do the same, but repairing a Saab is very expensive. Most Saab dealers are selling their cars certified with bumper-to-bumper coverage on everything, including bulbs to 100k.
I did a lot of extended warranty homework pre-purchase and you can get them up to 100k. I finally decided on Automotive Professionals
(800)441-1274.....your looking at around $1100 - $1300.00 depending on what you want like towing, rental, ect. These guys have been great during major problems with my car and work with your dealer so you dont have to be in the middle of it.
Bottom line..........repairing a Saab is expensive, you could have 1 or 2 problems and the price of the warranty is already met
Good luck tho!
