I had the same thing happen, steering wheel would wobble drastically after hitting a Boston pothole when I got up to about 25mph, and I mean wobbly. Turns out, I bent the respective wheel and it had to be replaced and an alignment was needed. After having the dealer replace the wheel and do an alignment, all was well. This was on a stock 00 9-3 with winter steel wheels. Dealer of course charged 120$ for a new steel wheel, but what can you do, desperate times.
