Thank you so much for reading this. just a couple of questions before I start another couple of projects. Love the car so you probably understand my outreach lol
1. Exhaust Smoke - my cars a smoker haha. runs great and doesn't burn anything at all!! It smokes at start up mostly, sometimes goes away but I noticed today that it just continued to smoke (less after driving a few miles) I always warm and cool that turbo. No oil burn/leaks in or anywhere near turbo. Synthetic blend used and Sunoco's best gas always! Still light brown healthy oil after my first 2000 awesome miles. I have tried all kinds of additives like techron, mystery oil, etc. After hours of observation in, on and under the car.. i just don't see how this is possible! Please help... if anything assure me that its not some serious internal problem.
2. ACC unit - anyone experience a buzzy kinda noise from the speakers when the ACC unit is in use only? really odd. but probably something common amoung these cars im sure... Car idles odd sometimes when the ACC unit is used? what should I check? How can I better the idle regardless of what is engaged?
3. Suspension - Anyone think sport springs (saab tuners 36mm drop front/rear) on an original suspension for the time being is smart, better said, feasable? A little bit of bounce is ok... broken busted up struts, arms, joints and bearings is not!!! I was planning on replacing the arms, bushings, wheel bearings, the cv joints just look too healthy but will have checked, rotors and some nice 17x8 rims from SaabTuners most-likely.
4. WINTER PREPING - Any suggestions? Starting the car already takes a few kicks. Seems to be a consistant 3-4 kicks before turning over.. but never fails! I just don't want this to become worse on those cold 10 degree nights here in new england
Thanks so much for your opinions... just want to say not only is owning a saab a privledge that I never really considered, but man am I happy I did... love this car and im sure ya'll do to....
