I have confirmed that the OEM radio is the parasitic 0.3 ampere drain, which I've learned is enough to drain the battery in 48 hours.
Does anyone know if all of the Saab OEM radios draw this much amperage when off? (Mine has CD but no changer.) I've never had a radio before that drew more than a few milliamps when off before.
I just need to know if this problem is something I can eliminate while keeping an OEM radio. Many would argue that the OEM radio is easily improved upon sonically with aftermarket, but I've never seen an aftermarket radio whose display could be read in full daylight with the convertible top down.
