WOW!!! That makes sense. Now I just have to find the sensor. Im not sure if you saw the link I posted about the by-pass oil filter, but I am now wondering if by running hot oil liquid lines across my engine bay if I created a heat disipation problem, even if I replace the sensor....
I may have directly attributed to its failure by these oil lines bringing engine heat to other parts of the compartment.
Thanks for the fuel filter tip, I am trying to solve this problem on my own, because I made a pact withmyself that if I bought this car I would take on 90% of its mechanical problems. You are making this one possible, I wish the guys at the Saab dealership had at least one fraction of your willingness to solve the problem, and a faction of your know how. They are too busy charging me $1.50 waste removal fee for a diagnostic on my car. "What waste removal???"
Its a sad world we live in.
Im gonna try to find this damn sensor in the EPC tonight and maybe I can insulate it or wrap my oil lines with insulation. Any ideas what kinda material to use???
