When you say that it lost reverse, do you mean that the shifter moves to the reverse detent position and the car doesn't move, or that it grinds real bad when shifting into reverse? How does it shift with the engine off? Typically, a worn clutch will act like this, but it may just need a clutch cable adjustment. Does it have a manual or self-adjusting clutch cable? Ron
