Steps for Replacing the Antenna?

2000 Saab 9-3owner. (I guess it is about time for these problems to start.)
I've got the Saab 9000 Haynes book, but it does not show how to replace the antenna. Today mine stuck in the up position. It looks like one of the lower segments was lowered, but the rest is stuck in the up position. I hear the little motor crancking, but the the antenna doesn't move. I would like to try to fix it, but I'm not sure what parts are involved or what has to be unscrewed/disconnected? Can anyone provide hints, steps or pictures? Thank you again for any information and insights.
