No ABS after new fuel pump

Fuel pump went out on me the other day, so I took the car to an indie who works on Saabs and Volvos. They wanted to cut a hole in the body to get to the pump - not liking the idea, I asked them to pull the tank. I got an earfull on how much more that would cost - etc. and figured with 212k on the car might as well go the cheap way and gave them the ok. To my surprise they called to say that they they had to drop the tank after all - couldn't do it the other way. Picked up the car today. Runs fine - but the anti-lock light stayed lit on the dash. Figuring this might go off after some driving, I went on. Shortly the TCS light came on. Stopped the car and restarted the engine - same lights on. Checked fuse when I got to work - ok. Called them to see if they may have removed the sensors for any reason while taking out the tank - claim they didn't touch the wheels brakes etc. From experience, stuff happens when people work on cars and I really don't believe that it is a cooincidence that the ABS doesn't work. It turns out that they did cut open the body to try and get at the pump but couldn't pull it out and dropped the tank.
So the questions is - when these guys were cutting open the body is it possible they cut a sensor cable? Any body know where these cables run from back to front.
Thanks
PS Virtually everytime I've let someone work on the car - I end up fixing something. Once had the crank shaft pulley fall off because they forgot to tighten it.
