I understand your concern prior to a major road trip but in all honesty it is a waste of your emotions. Your taking your car back to its roots, they love the cold. I just left CO after eight yrs and now live at sea level. My Viggen has never run more poorly. The only thing you cant control is the DI. If it goes, it goes. There is nothing you can do but replace the part, most people that rack up a lot of miles in their Saabers carry a spare DI in the back. Im sure you'll be fine regardless, if not, you have to love an adventure. Good luck!
