Hello, all...I am a TOTAL convertible virgin...Have never even driven one, and just tonight, was instructed at a Saab dealership just how to put the top up and down...
I am interested in, perhaps, taking the plunge into the 'vert world, but have MANY questions...
Trying to keep it simple...Here are a few.....

My interest is in model year 2003.....the last of the OG9-3's...
Are the engines the same whether I get the regular 9-3SE or the Viggen-looking 9-3..
Next, Is the Viggen looking convertible an appearance package ONLY, or does it have Viggen brakes, calipers, suspension, etc....
How durable are these canvas tops thru carwashes?...I wash my car 1 to 2 times every week thru a carwash..
How warm are these 'verts in the winter? ANY drafts?
How is the wind noise with the top up?
How RELIABLE are the 32 motors that I understand run this amazing ragtop?
I will be ONLY purchasing a CPO anyway, but, are there ANY notorious problems with these 'vert tops after warranty expires..?
Do they stay TIGHT year after year?..I hate a floppy ragtop...
Do they stay BLACK, or whatever color I end up getting, or does the canvas fade over time..?

These questions are just off the top of my head, but, hopefully, you have made it this far and will answer most of them...
