I might be wrong but as I understand, no "true" Viggen were made in 2003 convertible style.
Only Sport package equipped ones that looked like a Viggen but didn't have the engine, suspension and brakes as one.

As far as carwash goes. I don't think ANY car makers suggest that a car wash is good for a convertible, you will wear out the stiches and canvas especially with 2 per week.

I am not a convertible type guy so I think all of them are noisy more or less and with some years on the neck when rubber seals have harden and windows moved slightly out of alignment, it will get worse.

The top system seems to be working pretty ok with a couple of things to know. The shear pin for tonneau cover will break at some point but is an easy fix.
The fluid have a tendency to find its way out anywhere without it being a real leak to fix. Just make sure to keep the reservoir filled.
It is a plastic drive clutch in hydraulic pump that can break and some have had the whole pump motor replaced by shops not knowing that the plastic clutch could be replaced as a seperate part.
