just got back from a 6000 km treck from Victoria to Ensenada and back.
Almost cracked the quarter million mark on the odometer (that's kms not miles :).
Overall, my '95 900 S performed very well.
It has upgraded suspension (17" wheels, stiffer sway bar, konis and eibach springs) and that was handy on the Lost Coast road and the twisties in Northern California.
On a previous trip to Las Vegas, I hit a stop speed of 250+ km/h (pinned the needle, 4 mile straight, slight downhill, 7 a.m., and no cars in sight in either direction) and was amazed at how well it pulled on the high desert roads.
This trip I was suprised by its complete lack of power through death vally. It hit 43 celcius that day, so I guess any car would have some trouble but it was almost like I lost the turbo completely there for a while. Is that to be expected?
