if you have the same T5 interchoker as I do - you can certainly expect the turbo performance to suffer. Not sure the thresholds or exact mechanics.
But at nearly 110F the entire system will be pretty heat soaked to start with, and looses the ability to cool the charged air.
I would think the density of air in Death Valley would mitigate the effects of heat, but obiously not so!
