The 9-5 chassis is a newer design and the newer computer designed tubs are much stiffer. The rear parcel shelf in the SportWagon is also much more secure than the shelf in the NG900 which kinda' just lays there and I've never heard of a rear hatch rattle in a 9-5 whereas it's very common in an NG900/OG9-3.
