I don't seem to be able to get as much boost as others claim without spikes. Any suggestions Whats wrong ?
Even if I set the anticipator to the point that spool up is slowed (presumably because the WG is being held slightly open)and I set max boost level to around 13.5 PSI I can still trigger fuel cuts in 90 degree weather with a quick hard acceleration in 4th gear at 55mph
If I crank up the anticipator any more then spool up becomes very slow. If I adjust out the spikes by cutting back on the boost I feel I am missing out on some much loved PSI.
If If I drive so as not to spool up too fast and with the boost adjusted accordingly I can easily sustain over 15PSI with no droop, but when I adopt a more usual driving style I hit fuel cuts often.
I am thinking of moving the control from the throttle body to the turbo barb, in the hope that whilst I may get some droop overall I may be able to sustain higher boost levels without spikes....
Any thoughts or ideas ?
