Stalling while in neutral at traffic lights (long)

Hi all,
I have a 1999 9-3 with an intermittent stalling issue.
The car only stalls when sitting at a stop light or idling for awhile after the engine is good and hot. It doesn't matter whether the A/C is on or not. The idle settles as it always has around 900 RPM's, and does not hang or act erratically. When it is not stalling it runs perfectly normal with a stable idle. No CEL's misfiring etc...
When it stalls the car always starts right up. I would think that would rule out the CPS from what I've read here.
Here's what I've done:
- Techron concentrate less than 1000 miles ago (and every at every oil change - 5k miles).
- Replaced plugs today with the proper NGK BCPR7ES, gapped to .035". Read old plugs and none were too rich or lean. They all looked good.
- Cleaned IAC (or AIC whichever you prefer) last weekend and tons of gunk came out. Also cleaned the throttle body per instructions on the board, and both are now very clean. Throttle response is much improved and boost seems to come on quicker. Wish I'd done this awhile ago.
- Noticed the battery was low on H20 due to heat I'd assume. Topped it off with distilled H20.
- Measured voltage across that battery terminals at idle: 14.13 volts. So, the alternator looks OK I think according to what I've read here.
Did all the above, and it still stalled twice on the way to work this AM. Any other ideas?
I read about the EVAP purge valve cleaning, and will probably try that this weekend. But, if that doesn't work I am out of ideas and off the mechanic it goes on Monday.
Best regards,
Don
