I noticed after leaving a restaurant that my car would not unlock with the fob. upon entering the car and driving off, pushing the trunk button on the remote didn't make the SID display info on how many remotes and keys were programmed. Trying my spare, that didn't work either. Leaving out an experience with an ebay remote receiver module that began smoking and charred itself pretty nicely, I located and reflowed a cracked solder joint on my original receiver's board.
Before that night at the restaurant there had been a couple times when the remote was only working when the car had sat overnight, refusing to function on my drive home from work, etc.
Bottom line, if all your remotes died at once, it's more likely something in the car, rather than all your remotes dying at once.
