The potential exists but it's very unlikely to cause leaks.
Your seals etc are still plenty fresh so even if some dino gunk is cleaned by the syn you'd still be fine.
Perhaps use a shorter interval to start, and being somewhat anal I'd spring for a used oil analysis somewhere along the line.
fwiw in rural driving I'm at 5K intervals, 1qt M115W50 3.5qt M10W40,
wear metals start to ramp after 5K for me.
btw - if it's been well cared for, 88k is just getting broken in!
