That sounds like what must have happened with my car. Brand new CHF-11S is a nice green color and fairly clear. Mine probably went years with some unknown mix of fluids, but worked fine. Others have reported pump or rack problems pretty soon after mixing CHF-11S with other types of fluid. The easiest way to flush it is to take the return hose off of the power steering fluid reservoir, and stick it in a 2-liter pop bottle with something else wedged in there to keep the hose in place. Jack the car up (you don't want the tires to put pressure on the rack), start the car up, and turn the wheel side to side. The pump will drain the reservoir in seconds, so you need to have someone else standing by to pour new fluid in as it drains. It took me about 2 1/2 cans of CHF-11S to flush the old stuff old and fill the reservoir up.
