I just did the procedure. I disagree that you should have someone pouring new fluid in as the old comes out if you are draining from the pump return hose. That return hose comes straight from the reservoir, so effectively while that hose is disconnected, you are draining straight out what is poured in before it cycles through the system (all you're flushing in doing so is that 5' hose). I think you should drain completely and cut the engine when the flow stops. If you want to flush, reconnect everything, fill up with fluid, run it and rotate the wheels, then repeat.
By the way - Pentosin CHF-11S isn't easy to find locally. You can get it fairly cheap on eeuroparts.com, otherwise I found Audi, VW, and BMW frequently use the same stuff and in addition to Saab dealers, most of their dealers carry it (although it may be repackaged under their brand). Good to know if you need it quick.
