I travel all over the state, and when gas broke three dollars a gallon, I got cheap. I switched from Premium to Regular, and discovered that I actually get better gas mileage. I'm not interested in "Bursts of Speed" I just want to get from the Space Coast to Tampa or Miami as cheaply as possible. I'm the guy you pass on I-95, or I-4, who's going 65mph in a long straight section of interstate... got the top down... a cup of coffee in my hand... and a smile on my face. I care more about what the Average MPG displayed on the SID than I do about the line of SUV's that is passing me at 80mph. Screw 'em... they're the reason we have such a high demand for fuel in this country as it is... they don't care... they just keep pouring cash into the tank, and pressing the gas pedal to the floor... they don't see the correlation between speed and MPG... and if they do, like I said, they don't care. Well, I care. They keep driving up the cost of fuel, and I keep looking for another way to wring every mile I can from a gallon of gas.
