Update:
Put the new Monroe Sensa-tracs on the rear of my '94 900SE v-6 (to replace the new but horrible riding Bilstein Tourings).
Sorry to report there is no improvement in ride quality whatsoever :-( Waste of money and time for me. I can add that the Monroe bushing system at the top of the shock is also different and inferior to the OEM. You cannot use the original style bushings with the Monroe shocks like you can with the Bilsteins. Even the nut you get with the Monroes is rather cheap (without the Nylon locking-Nyloc, unlike others).
I did find that you can change rear shocks without removing the rear wheels (Service manual states removal of the wheels as one of the steps).
