I've got a slow coolant leak in my '01 Viggen. I haven't totally diagnosed it as a leaky water pump, but after some research on this board, I'm about 90% sure that's what it is. I've got coolant running down and dripping slowly from my oil pan. I'm having a hard time actually locating the leak on the water pump itself yet, but I think I just haven't gotten under it at the right angle.

My question is, how long can I go on with a slow leak as long as I keep filling the coolant reservoir? I plan on getting it fixed, but wonder if I can put it off a month or so until I have some more cash saved up. I just don't want to get stranded somewhere or do damage to the engine if I continue driving it. Thanks.
