I have Bilstein Sport Shocks and Koni springs and I can tell you the ride is very stiff, but the handling is amazing. If im understanding you correctly you want better handing w/o making the rid uncomfortable; you have a few options.

1) Go all oem. The new parts alone (even if they are the same spec) will make the car handle a little better.

2) Go with the Bilstein HD shocks and use your stock springs. This will make your suspension articulate a little better and provide better road contact. It may decrease some of your body roll as well. Overall this should not do anything but better your ride quality, but it does not lower the car at all.

3) Go with the Koni sport kit. From what I understand you can get a very nice ride when tuned correctly and it lowers the height of the car slightly which many people want.

I don't think any other options will work for what you want because: any combination of an OEM shock and lowering springs will give you a "bouncy ride"; Bilstein Sport struts will be too stiff; and the koni adjustable are are pointless w/o the springs.

No matter what you choose, remember that tires are almost more important than the suspension you choose in regards to ride quality.
