the coolant sensor actually kept the engine from starting up correctly?
my car has been acting up similarly. mostly when its colder out. i have to turn the engine over a few times. each time it catches just a little more. i didn't find anything obvious concerning spark or fuel, so i was really perplexed. but the coolant sensor?
i do know that one other symptom i have been having does indicate that the coolant sensor is an issue on my car....the temp guage in the car has been really low for a while. that is definitely the sensor.
only, i have one other issue now. i can't gett my car to turn over. the other morning while turning the engine over a half dozen times it just stopped turning the starter. the relays just click. my only guess is the solenoid on the starter, but i can't even see the starter!! and i don't own a lift.
any thoughts? will the sensor really affect startup? and the starter is under the fuel intake near the alternator right? what's the best way to access?
