depending upon type of fill plug for the tranny, you will either need a 8mm allen key or a socket (can't remember size) to remove it. the level check and drain plugs are both 8 mm allen keys. i got mtl from a specialty performance store. the fluid may fix your problem (it's a cheap first-attempt at resolution fix). during the flush stage, you have to work the gears to free the stuck gearing. if it doesn't fix it, i'd try the transmission linkage realignment. if you search the bb, you'll find detailed info on the tranny flush. and yes, this "fixed" my wife's car.
