I just purchased a 1998 Saab 900S Convertible 2.3l 4cyl Manual transmission. My first car was a 1995 Saab 9000 CSE-T which no longer runs. I want to take really really good car of this car to keep it running strong. It is in great condition I can take pictures later I just got it today. It is pretty, gorgeous, and needs love. 107k Miles on the ODO and almost all parts look stock. The salesman is a dealer and got it from a dealer auction and then did a little work before reselling. I don't know much about cars but I love Saabs (Lucky enough to have my first two cars be Saabs) they are EXPENSIVE to fix so I want to take the best car of it I can. I don't know many of the parts or terms but here we go. He says he changed the belt (serpentine belt?), spark plugs, oil change, new brakes, and new tires. I am going to get the oil changed every 3000 miles and going to flush the radiator my first change. I am looking for advice to make sure I'm not overlooking anything and want to be a thorough caretaker of my new ride! :)
feel free to contact me, Sincerely.
