Inner driver bushing Quest (Anders and others)

I know a few people on this board has done the cut and pull method. I am thinking I may have to do the driver's side inner driver bushing thing (probably later this summer). In researching the whole debacle, I came across a post (forget by who) that said that the bushing had a "clip" that held it in also.
All other info and posts led me to believe that it is just a press fit into the differential housing.
Is there some kind of underlying clip holding it in also? I am thinking of trying a blind bearing puller (used for motorcycle bearings) before I try cutting into it as they are more robust than the usual pilot bearing pullers used for autos, but I'm thinking it DEFINITELY won't work if there's also some kind of clip holding it in also.
Any input is most appreciated.
