I use my Motive bleeder to do this. Disconnect the hose from the reservoir adapter, & I don't remember whether I had to step down to a smaller diameter hose to fit snug onto the bleed nipple. The Motive bleeder can easily do this.
I've read of people using a large syringe, like maybe a veterinary syringe?? With the bleed screw opened, it doesn't take a great deal of pressure.
I can understand Paul B's method, because the clutch line has some horizontal or even downhill sections as it goes to the master. You might be able to jack the rear wheels up high in the air to get the same result?
