How's your spark plugs? Using NGK or a different brand?
Here's the background story...
There's NO camshaft position sensor, so when you first start the engine, it fires both TDC spark plugs together. The ignition cassette measures ionization voltage, & figures out which cylinder actually contains fuel & which has exhaust. After that, it knows which spark plug to fire.
If your plugs are getting old, fouled, or whatever; it has a hard time figuring out what's what when starting. It might even be the first signs of a flaky ignition cassette.
