Why would you want to use dielectric grease on a battery terminal, don't you want them to conduct electricity. One uses dielectric grease on spark plug insulators to keep them sticking to the sleeves and to keep them from arcing through and shorting out, that is as an insulator, not because the grease conducts electricity.
I lifted the following from the Wikipedia article "Dielectric" just to emphasize the point: "A dielectric is a nonconducting substance, i.e. an insulator."
The fact that your battery connections still conduct is due to having them torqued tight enough to have direct metal to metal contact, not because of dielectric grease. So if you are interested in preventing corrosion, any old grease will do, a dielectric is not only overkill but a step in the wrong direction.
