Hi there - Just bought a 1999 93 Turbo and I'm in the process of fixing it up. The drivers seat was trashed so I found a couple of replacement saab seats that were in really good condition - power adjustments to boot.

I took out the old passenger seat and swapped in the new one to test the fit. The connector hooked up fine but now I'm getting the air bag light. Took out the new seat and put the old one back in - light still on.

What do you guys think? Will switching seats trigger the computer fault even if the car is off? If I put the new seats in and visit the local saab indy will he be able to clear the error?

On my old 900 unplugging the battery for a while would clear codes, but I'm afraid to try that as I don't have a radio code for this car. Is there even a radio code on these 93's?

Any suggestions about wiring in power to the power seats would also be helpful. :)
