Have them on both ends of all three of my Saabs and (knowing the indy who put them on), I think they are on the '99 9-3 SE I just bought.
The ceramic AXXIS pads from eEuro are fine, too. Little dust and they can even handle track use.
You can *probably* use your pads on the new rotor, but so you don't have to go in there again, just put new pads on too if you can afford it. I didn't when I replaced a warped rotor recently but the pads were only about 35% worn. At 60% it's a toss up.
