hello everyone!
after reading your replies and some thinking I've decided to do some work by myself. i have saab 900ng 2.3 na 1994. before I do wheel alignment I'd like to rebuild my front suspension and replace tie rod end with broken bolt. so I'd like to ask you some questions. some years ago I replaced my stock shocks with bilstein hd and h&r springs which are shorter. now springs in the rear need to be replaced and one of the shock boots in the front is a junk. so here are my questions:
-should i replace all four springs or only 2? and what brand should i use? shocks are still good.
-what about shock boots? should i buy the stock ones? do they fit? or may be i should buy the boots from 9-3? i saw dmitry platonoff used those.
-i live in brooklyn, ny. where can i do wheel alignment and road force balance? can you recommend a place? i don't want to go to so-called "mechanics" that lool like high school drop outs and totally unprofessional-sorry for this comment, i've been through a lot of things....
-where can i rent some automotive tools? i need an impact wrench and spring compressor to be exact, i have everything else.
i would like to thank you for all your comments and answers in advance. thank you for your support.
