I've lost two of those damn things already. When they get stuck, I just pulled the plastic trim as hard as I could, and the fasteners went flying off...can't find them.
Just as an FYI, you can check the fluid level without accessing the pump...Look at the rear of your trunk, driver's side, right on the lower crossmember, just where the floor meets the crossmember. If you can visualize where the pump reservoir is, you're just looking at the other side of it. If you just pull the carpet down a bit, you'll see two sight holes that you can look through to check the fluid. Shine a flashlight in one, and look through the other. On my car I don't even have to move carpet as there is a cutout.
