To be honest Paul, I have been in a hurry lately and not allowing my engine to fully warm up for a solid 2 to 3 minutes before driving. Plus it's been cold lately too, so that would explain it (just hope it doesn't turn out to be bad piston rings or leaky fuel injectors or anything more major like that). However, if what you say is true (and I certainly hope that's the case for me!) my oil still appears clean with a dark amber color. Shouldn't it turn slightly more black with that little bit of gasoline in it? No hue of any dark brown or black yet.
