Car: 2000 9-3 Viggen 5dr 100K
I heard a rattle last night and jacked the right front tire to inspect the damage, to discover that I had a broken Steering knuckle right at the base of where the strut mount nut screws in (see in pictures linked below).
I am looking for instructions on disassembly for the Viggens, all I can find is regular 9-3. Are they the same pretty much?
Also since I am ripping into suspension i am looking for suspension mods suggestions:
-Eibach springs and koni struts
- koni and koni from GS
- Should i do uprated GS strut uppers at the same time?
Thoughts on suspension upgrades would be great, I live in Maine and don't want to lower much, What amounts to two systems do. I have looked a lot on boards and no definite answers on ride height. I am leaning toward Eibachs and koni's as they keep front bumper up some from what i can find.
Location for getting the Eibach springs as well
Thanks in advance
