There are two rubber fuel hoses with a plastic male-to-male connector between the throttle body and purge valve in my 9-3. I don't know why they used two hoses here. Perhaps it was to remove some stress in the question marked shape route it uses. Maybe in the 900's they used a single plastic lined fuel hose.
