Sorry to hear that you are affected by the sludge...
I found out on the weekend that my car doesn't have PCV upgrade #6, so I took it to the mechanic to have the pan dropped and cleaned as a preventive measure.
Well, they didn't find much sludge, but some metal shavings from rod bearing #4, and a broken vibration dampener. So now I'm having all bearings replaced, plus the dampener, and whatever else they need to do while in there.
Estimated cost: More than $1700. Ouch!!!
That means steering rack brace and any other goodies will have to wait for quite some time.
Hope you get the sludge under control!
