I have had a couple of C900's, and I briefly owned a 9000, but I have never had an NG900.

The Saab Tech who works on my current one has a 1996 900 SE turbo convertible that he is getting ready to sell. 193,000 miles, automatic, interior in good shape, body decent, a few dents and dings but nothing major. I have not yet driven the car but it seems to run well, AC blows cold, and its black, which is my favorite color in a car.

It has had a new head gasket, thermostat, fuel pump, and security system control module, all put in by my Saab guy. He is going to do a couple of other little things to it, make sure it passes smog, and sell it for around $1,000.

The only major thing is the top does not work, and I understand it is not hydraulic on these which makes it a bit more complicated.

Anyway, I am considering buying it. Strongly considering it acutally, the price seems very fair to me. Mileage is a bit high, but I think for the money I can't go wrong.

Anything I should know before purchasing it? Any severe weaknesses in these cars? Obviously its old and things can wrong, I just don't have any expirience with this body style.
