Saab 9-3 HOT fuel consumption survey

So, I am not happy with the fuel consumption of my car. Other owners of similar models told me they are getting 24-26mpg, while I just get 21. No matter how hard I try, I can't get better than 22. Emissions are super clean, and no check engine lights or fault codes in the computer. Tires new, no dragging of brakes. No vacuum leaks or other mechanical issues found, either.
I want to see what others get, and if there is a pattern - maybe it's something I overlook, something easy to change that would make this car more efficient. Gas is cheap here, so money isn't the motivator - I just hate to waste gas.
If you own a 2000-2002 Saab 9-3 SE with the HOT (205hp) engine, please provide the following information:
Model Year (2000, 2001, or 2002)
Body Style (5-door, coupe, convertible)
Transmission (manual, automatic)
HVAC type (manual AC, automatic climate control)
AC settings (always on, temperature settings, etc)
Geographic area
Your driving style (aggressive, average, mellow)
Typical driving conditions (X% city, Y% highway, Z% freeway/autobahn)
Average fuel consumption (in mpg or l/100km)
Type of fuel used
