Model Year -2001
Body Style -5-door
Transmission -manual
HVAC type -automatic climate control
AC settings -this time of year, often off, or econ, unless it gets hot
Geographic area - Vermont
Your driving style -average - but like to punch it at on-ramps
Typical driving conditions 15% city, 85% highway
This is where things change for me, as I have been driving to a project site almost everyday, where I live a few miles from the interstate, then go roughly 20 miles doing 70+, then 25 miles on a 50mph road that rarely sees much traffic. So, the sweet spot is 50 or 60 mph for my car, and with the AC off, I get well over 30 mpg, and can get 500 miles out of a tank! This has only been over the last couple months, but now that I'm mostly back at my office, I do a lot more stop and go, and on a steep hill. So now, I'll probably get 400 miles per tank, and average around 25+ mpg
Average fuel consumption 30+ mpg
Type of fuel used - premium
If you find that perfect zone, the car is great on gas, and again, its the 50 to 60 mph that you will see the best results. Also, the AC kills you if you are doing a lot of stop and go...not as bad on the highway
