That's my hunch, too. Is there any chance that you can recommend a reasonably priced mechanic in the DFW area that would be qualified to look at this stuff? I've already paid Christian Brothers Automotive a fair bit of money, and while they generally do excellent work, they've not been able to turn anything up either.

Any suggestions, or just some more info on what else I should look at? I'm beyond my training, experience and well into wild conjecture.

Going to try and spend some more time with the car this weekend, hopefully getting those shocks and springs installed.

Again, I appreciate all of the helpful comments!
