A bit different than the auto trans NG900 version (and all '99-02 9-3) where the inner driver cup is cast as part of the intermediate shaft.
These have the inner driver cup sealed with the inner boot as part of the axle assembly. You should be able to use some grease/anti-seize on the splines, carefully make sure the axle is indexed on the splines correctly (no double sized indexing groove) then simply use the axle as a slide hammer of sorts to hammer the inner cup on the intermediate shaft.
