I have a 2001 9-3. Cable feels awesome (car not driven in winter) but the other one, 2000, completely shot. Local GM dealer is having liquidation and has two cables for sale, around sixty bucks.
Worth to buy the part for the 2001? As I said, nothing wrong with it but typically, how long do they last? I barely use it as the car is parked on flat surface, which is likely why it's lasted this long but I know it's always under a certain amount of tension.
Thanks for the input.
