Dear Ghp, thought you might be interested on the resolution to my fuel pump problem - glad you liked pic! Here's the lowdown on the repair so that others here might benefit from my experience:
- New Genuine OEM Fuel Pump for 2000 Saab 9-3 (2.0L) Turbo Convertible (purchased online via buyautoparts.com Item #36-01118 ON) with 3 day air delivery = $274.95
- New Fuel Filter = $25.25
- Labor Charge = $210 (5.25 hrs @ $40/hour)
- Number of driving days lost due to repair = 3
TOTAL COST to COMPLETE: $510.20 . . . FYI: I've even given my "Carolina Blue" Saab her own theme song and "tagline" taken from J-Cole's "Work Out" . . . "Carolina blue kicks fresh on the scene, hottest "Saab" on the block - girl your mean . . . just like them two-door Fords, damn they don't make 'em like you no more!" Enjoy . . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=SMMXN5mnQzY
