Unless your goal is ultimate snow traction, I'd advise that you think twice about going for 195. Snow tires with soft compounds and small tread blocks tend to be wiggly to start with, so if you go with a smaller width, they're going to be even wigglier. That's fine if you do mostly city driving, but may be annoying on the highway and in dry conditions. This may vary with different tires.
I'm using 205/55/16 Firestone Winterforce tires on my 02 9-3 SE (stock size is 215/55/16(?)) and if I were to do it again, I'd go for 215's.
