Dexron-VI superseded Dexron-III years ago and GM refuses to license the Dexron-III name to oil blenders. Many companies make blends labeled MD-3 or similar which is their old Dexron-III/Mercor ATF with a new name. So one of these or Dexron-VI is what you will want to equal factory fill.
Similar thing with the Power Steering fluid. Pentosin introduced a new fluid CHF-202 which was to replace their CHF-11s which was factory fill in the '99 but both are available. Prices often are different and the newer fluid may be less expensive
