Two potential issues with 2003 9-3 convertible Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sun, 21 Sep 2014 13:51:23 In Reply to: 2003 9-3 convertible potential problems?, crsaab, Sat, 20 Sep 2014 06:18:54 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
First is the too flexible chassis. Although this is more apparent with the Viggen due to its greater power and torque the same problems are in the other cars as well. The solutions are the same too, steering rack brace, stronger rear sway bar, strut top brace, and six point front sub frame brace.
Second is engine sludge. Look for the improved PCV system on the engine. If not there then drop the pan to clean the sump.
